Santa Rosa Sunset
We live on beautiful Santa Rosa Island in the panhandle of Florida. On the south side is the Gulf of Mexico, and surrounding us on the north is Santa Rosa Sound.
My husband Jim, and I enjoy our balcony time and along with our gorgeous sunsets, we have been known to sip a concoction or two. This is a delicious and refreshing way to say see you tomorrow to the sun from your balcony.
For 2 servings
1/2 c. Good Gin or Vodka
1/3 c. St. Germaine Elderflower liqueur
2 t. Rose’s Lime juice
Frozen dark cherries
Place ice in a shaker. All all but the cherries and shake vigorously. Strain into your favorite martini glass and add frozen cherries. The beautiful color rises as the cherries defrost and compliment the beautiful sunset.
